Jeana in Australia and Papua New Guinea

My name is Jeana Wiemeyer and I am a full-time volunteer with YWAM, serving in both Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG). I work on board MV YWAM PNG, a YWAM Medical and Training Ship that travels to remote villages in PNG, many of which can only be accessed by boat. I spend about half of my year on the ship and absolutely love what I get to be part of: bringing hope and life to the people of PNG through free medical services, education and capacity building.

When I am not in PNG, I work out of our office in Townsville, Australia. I have been on staff with YWAM Townsville since 2010, splitting my time between Austrlaia and PNG.
